The Centre for Regional Development of the Czech Republic is a government agency established by Act No. 248/2000 Coll., on Support to Regional Development. For nearly 30 years, it has been the leader in administering projects financed by EU funds; since 2025, it has also been in charge of selected national grant programmes. The Centre is here for anyone who wants to make the Czech regions a better place to live. It assists applicants – from municipalities to nonprofit organisations and businesses – with the smooth implementation of their projects. It also oversees the proper use of European and national funding.
