Association for Toys and Play

The Association aims to bring together individuals and groups with professional interests in the field of toys and play, including their creation and use. It supports the manufacturing, delivery, sale, and export of high-quality, safe toys through the sharing of information, collaboration, promotion, and expert advice. Key activities include: The Right Toy project, which does not assess mandatory safety standards (which must be met), but recognises aesthetics, educational value, green credentials and originality, serving as a guide for parents and educators; The Right Toy Design competition, which supported young Czech designers during the 2024 FOR KIDS trade fair; Publishing the trade journal Hračka (Toy), a successor to the publication Svět hraček (World of Toys), which provides news from the field; and Supporting members at national and international trade fairs (e.g. Spielwarenmesse, Hong Kong Toys & Games, FOR TOYS, Hračkobraní), and with safety seminars, grant programmes and international projects.

Center for Creative Museology of the Hradec Králové Region

Part of the Museum of Eastern Bohemia in Hradec Králové, the Center for Creative Museology creates an open, collaborative space for the development of museums in the Hradec Králové Region. It believes that the talents of graphic artists, designers, architects, scenographers, performing artists, IT and audiovisual professionals, and fashion designers have great potential to enrich museums and further museum management. The Center’s non-traditional approach leads to new questions and a view of museology as an inspiring, dynamic, and professional field. It supports creativity, motivates the museum community to develop original ideas, and searches for innovative solutions that respect tradition.

Creative Brno

We are a team from the Department of Strategic Development and Cooperation of the Brno City Hall. We strive to make Brno an environment where creativity flourishes. We want to support creativity in various ways, so that creators are not limited in their efforts by obstacles and that they develop not only themselves, but also Brno and the surrounding region.

Creative Olomouc

Creative Olomouc explores, educates, discusses, connects, consults, informs and promotes cultural and creative scene in Olomouc and Olomouc region and strives to conceptualize it. The vision of Creative Olomouc is for the cultural and creative sectors to develop, cooperate and become a respected and high-profile area of business, the image of the city and social life in Olomouc.

Creative Prague

Creative Prague is a municipal organisation for cultural development. Its mission is to create an environment that supports the development of culture and the cultural and creative industries and contributes to an improved quality of life for the city’s residents. It formulates innovative and systemic visions for cultural policy and supports dialogue between players in the cultural sector, residents and the municipal authorities, providing space for skilled decision-making concerning support for culture and public life based on data and professional expertise. Its activities connect the needs of various entities and bring innovative approaches to the development of culture in Prague at the local and international levels.

Czech Chamber of Architects

An autonomous professional body established by law, the Czech Chamber of Architects is the professional association for certified architects, landscape architects and urban planners in the Czech Republic. The Chamber’s primary mission is to ensure the professional quality of architectural services and protect the interests of its members. The Chamber administers and regularly updates the list of certified architects, grants certification to practice the profession, and oversees the professional level of the services provided. It establishes standards of performance and documentation for its members, provides sample contracts, and maintains a lifelong education system. Practical tools, such as a fee calculator and electronic authorisation stamp (EAS), are also available. A major area of endeavour for the Chamber involves the support of architectural competitions as a transparent means of selecting an architect. The Chamber provides consultation services to contracting authorities, prepares examples and regulations for competitions, and supervises their proper administration. The Chamber also organises the prestigious Czech Architecture Award, an annual recognition of leading architectural work, and supports public discourse concerning quality architecture. The Czech Chamber of Architects is actively involved in many current issues, such as the digitalisation of construction management, sustainability, participation, Blue-Green infrastructure, and the role of the city architect. Through these activities, the Chamber contributes to improving the architectural environment and building culture of the Czech Republic.

Czech Cultural Institute

The Czech Cultural Institute (CCI) was established on 1 July 2025 through the merger of two existing contributory institutions: NIPOS (National Information and Consulting Centre for Culture) and ATI (Arts and Theatre Institute). THE CCI’s primary aim is to become a modern, efficient and open institution with nationwide reach, providing comprehensive support for the cultural infrastructure of the Czech Republic. About the predecessor organisations: ATI’s mission is to provide comprehensive services in the field of theatre and additional services in other artistic disciplines (music, literature, dance and the visual arts) to the Czech and international public. We collect, process and make accessible collection items related to the theatre, carry out research and educational activities, participate in international projects and publish specialist literature. We are also the headquarters of the Office of Creative Europe – Culture. www.idu.cz NIPOS’s mission is to support the regional development of culture, especially non-professional arts activities and the aesthetic education of children and young people. and provide information and specialised consultation for state and local authorities, associations, schools and other entities. NIPOS is also involved in research, analysis and sectoral statistics. Constituent departments include ARTAMA (non-professional art), CIK (statistics and library), KAM (strategy and planning), ICT, and the Directorate, which oversees the magazine Místní kultura (Local Culture) and the Czech amateur theatre database. www.nipos.cz

Czech Fashion Council

The Czech Fashion Council is a support platform for the development and promotion of fashion in the Czech Republic. It represents, supports and promotes the Czech fashion industry, initiating dialogue on current issues in fashion. It maps the entire field, including specialists, companies, media outlets, stakeholder institutions, and professional events. The Council aims to support Czech fashion in the Czech Republic and abroad. Its mission includes: connecting and activating communication between the individual spheres of the Czech fashion scene; enhancing the operation of the Czech fashion industry; raising society’s awareness of fashion’s cultural significance; supporting education in the fashion industry; and the professional presentation of Czech fashion.

Czech Game Developers Association

The Czech Game Developers Association (GDACZ) is a professional organisation for game developers and companies active in the game industry. GDACZ’s goal is to support the development of the games industry in Czechia, improve conditions for developers, advocate for their interests vis-á-vis the state and the public, and contribute to the international competitiveness of Czech games. The Association regularly publishes analyses of the market, collaborates with the academic sphere, and organises activities to support education, export and a culture of professionalism in the field.

INION

INION Innovation Centre supports entrepreneurship, innovation, and creativity in the Karlovy Vary Region. Connecting talented people, entrepreneurs, students, and experts, it co-creates projects that change the region for the better. INION organises workshops, inspiring encounters and educational events, provides consultation for companies just starting out, and helps bring new ideas to life. INION’s goal is for the Karlovy Vary Region to become an attractive location for life, work, and business in the 21st century.

Institute of Interior Designers

The Institute of Interior Designers is a registered association and a voluntary, non-political, nonprofit organisation. Its primary goals include: Networking – connecting with specialised and interdisciplinary constituents through professional meetings, conferences, seminars and publication activities; Education, awareness, applied research – gaining knowledge through support and research and development projects, which will then be shared with the members of the Institute through seminars, professional conferences or publication activities. Lobbying and consultation – As part of its professional activities and utilising the connections between its members, the Institute will develop activities and apply pressure to increase the quality of educational and legislative norms associated with its area of expertise. Security policy – Support for interior designers in the areas of collective professional insurance, specialist legal protection and intellectual property rights. Certification – The creation, in collaboration with other institutions, of a unified evaluation framework for certifying the professional classifications of interior designer, interior architect, and residential architect; and To unite and connect entrepreneurial subjects and organisations to elevate and solidify their competitiveness and support for innovation.

Living Creativity

Living Creativity is the online platform for the Regional Innovation Centre of the Karlovy Vary Region, which connects professionals from the region’s cultural and creative industries through the regional Gallery of Creatives. The project supports local creatives, artists, architects, and craftspeople through increased visibility and the creation of new job opportunities. The platform offers a broad spectrum of specialists from audiovisual creation, production, and the performing arts, to handmade production and traditional crafts. It serves as a tool for identifying creative talents according to specialisation and experience and supports the building of an active community of creatives in the region.
